You probably need to read the enclosed "LEGAL.txt" file to understand
exactly what you can and cannot do with this set of files.

Done? Okay...  Let's make this template work for your troop site.

Step 1:  Find and replace

You will need to use a text editing utility or web page authoring
application to modify these files. The first thing you should do is a
"Find & Replace" command for the following strings of text:

      Find the text:  Troop 123
    Replace it with:  Troop xxx

      Find the text:  webmaster@domain.com
    Replace it with:  youremail@your_domain.com

      Find the text:  Located in Washington, D.C. USA
    Replace it with:  Located in Wherever You Are


Step 2: Content Customization

The next thing you should do is go through each page of the template and
replace the information you see with the appropriate information for
your troop.

If you find a page in the template which you have no information for,
you can type "Under Construction," "Coming Soon," or some other line.

If you find a page in the template that you will NEVER want to use, you
can delete that file. Please note, you MUST also go and delete every
link to that file on the other pages of the template. If you don't,
visitors to your site will get a "Error - Page Not Found" and they may
leave the site.


Step 3: Uploading Your Site To A Web Server

There are so many different server configurations, hosting companies,
etc. that it would be impossible to describe how to do this.

Please contact your web hosting company / service for instructions. The
links in this template are all "relative" which means that, as long as
you don't move these files into different folders, they should work on
whatever server you put them on.
